Mr. Michael Wicklund and Kay Wicklund founded Missouri Forge Inc. in Chicago, Illinois, in 1972. We manufacture a diverse line of superior quality, high-strength, safety-critical, closed-die forged parts that enable our customers to deliver exceptional finished products reliably. All forged parts are crafted in the USA. We produce more than 1,000 different parts for more than 50 customers. Missouri Forge Inc. is an S corporation with over 60 full-time employees. We are registered ISO 9001.
History
Over the past 40 years, our company has grown from a small mom-and-pop shop to a successful operation that manufactures in a 104,000-square-foot plant and generates $10M+ in annual revenue. Currently, Missouri Forge Inc. manufactures forged parts used primarily in the aftermarket automotive, oil and gas, small engine, heavy lifting, large trucks, railroad and mining industries. We specialize in manufacturing steel forged parts for safety critical applications.
Marketing & Growth
Our company employs various methods of marketing. The senior management team is personally involved in new sales, customer development, and customer service. Missouri Forge Inc. also has independent sales representatives in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma. We also receive referrals and inquiries from our website as well as other sites like Forging Industry Association, Manta, and Automotive OEM. However, our best form of marketing and advertising is simply our reputation for high-quality parts and services. As a result, Missouri Forge Inc. has been successful in drawing upon its excellent reputation and customer referrals to generate long-term relationships and additional business. Our investment in equipment, personnel, and systems also affords us a solid base for traditional growth.
